  • Shadow Work

Whether you experienced trauma with a big "T" or not, we carry around the impressions that were formed on our psyches at an early age. Our sense of self is based largely on our experiences with others and the messages we are given. In order to live our most authentic lives, we must hear our inner voice. The “little you”. This involves opening the door to our deepest selves and exploring the dark scary places that may have been locked away for years. I will hold your hand, shine a flashlight and guide you so that you can heal the old wounds, let go of that which does not serve you now and move forward with more freedom in your life.

  • Dynamic Parent Counseling

It takes a village. And as the most important job you can do, it’s also seemingly the one for which most people receive the least amount of training. In order to handle whatever this journey throws at you, you’ll need a toolbox of strategies. This is support and guidance for both new and experienced parents. Together we identify and address specific issues related to children’s age/developmental phase. This option also covers prenatal and postpartum support to help with anxiety, depression (“baby blues”), work-family balance, and self image/identity.

  • Parallel Parent Counseling

Perhaps you and your partner are no longer a romantic duo, yet you are still partners in the business of co-parenting. If you have different parenting styles and/or issues communicating well, I can help you identify and create a plan for your children based on their needs and your shared values, paying attention to appropriate developmental milestones, while maintaining a balance that helps everyone feel seen, heard, and recognized.

  • Support For Teens

I work with teens virtually and in person to provide a safe space for them to get the support and guidance they need without shame or judgment. I draw on my experience working with teens internationally, as well as my personal experience as a mom of two teenagers, to address issues of anxiety, self esteem, friendships, family and relationships, school anxiety and avoidance. We explore tools, skills and techniques that work specifically for their individual personalities. I empower teens to envision the lives they want and make the changes they need to be their best, boldest, healthiest selves.

Retreats

Personal retreats focus on the needs of the individuals, while using the energy of the group. Combining outdoor activities with inner reflection to achieve life changing personal growth.

Couples retreats fine tune even the best relationships. Just as your car needs regular tune-ups, so do your relationships. Custom designed couples retreats allow your individual needs to be addressed in your ideal setting.

Corporate retreats use innovative exercises and initiatives to challenge your group and allow participants to build on their strengths. Physical activities energize participants and facilitate the development of problem solving strategies. Workshops can be facilitated on-site, at your organization, or off-site, at a variety of locations.

Future announcements will be sent out in the newsletter!

Programs For Kids

Go Girls!

A self esteem boosting workshop just for girls.

We address issues such as relational aggression (“mean girl” behavior), body image, and society’s pressure to “fit in”. Girls learn how to identify their feelings, assert themselves, speak up, and articulate their needs in a variety of situations.

A workshop based program to support children whose families are going through divorce or separation. Our goal is to teach kids the skills to manage family transitions in a healthy way while mitigating trauma . Divorce and separation can be a pretty tumultuous time. This group provides a safe and supportive environment for children to open up and process what’s going on at home. Kids will have the ability to meet and bond with others who are going through similar circumstances and see that they are not alone.
